Princess Hours

It’s been a couple of weeks since I started to watched the new Koreanovela of ABS-CBN called Princess Hours. It is very enjoying to watch beacause of the colorful and romantic struggle of a prince and a pauper set in Korea. I was able to get in in the mood of the show because of it’s youthful themes and its fairy tale content. I liked Prince Troy in the previous episodes because he looks like a helpless prince trying to get what he should deserve as part of the first line in the kingship until it stop when his father died. Prince Gian, on the other hand, is a typical “snob yet lovable” prince who is starting to like and to love Janelle, the pauper in the story. Meanwhile, Janelle, a typical school girl was meant to marry the prince by somewhat agreement between Prince Gian’s grandfather and Janelle’s grandfather in their younger years. Janelle was the big change in Gian’s boring former world. Monique was then the former love of Gian way back when Janelle met him. Believing that she was secured to Gian’s love, Monique disapprove Gian’s proposal in marrying her because she [Monique] wanted to concentrate more on her career. But realized later that she was so fool enough to let go of Gian’s love.

Princess Hours is a fairy tale. A fairy tale in the modernized world. A Korean drama that really touched the way i percieve love and meeting that someone. It’s really a sure hit in the Philippines, right now!
